Operating Model
Our operating model is designed to move opportunities through a disciplined, stage-based process. Each project advances only as its technical, legal, commercial, financial, and compliance requirements become sufficiently defined.
The platform operates through interconnected workstreams that may run simultaneously across multiple opportunities. While one project is being evaluated, another may be undergoing financial structuring, negotiation, or execution through its dedicated SPV.
Resources and capital are deployed progressively as visibility improves and key milestones are achieved. This approach allows 7 Seas Energy to establish an early strategic position while containing exposure during the most uncertain stages of development.
Once a project enters execution, we assume the central management and coordination role, integrating participants, overseeing performance, and maintaining control over project information, financial flows, governance, and commercialization.
STAGE ONE
Origination
We maintain a continuous pipeline of energy and critical mineral opportunities through regional relationships, institutional engagement, market analysis, and direct interaction with asset owners. Each opportunity is initially screened for strategic relevance, resource potential, ownership status, commercial logic, and alignment with the platform.
STAGE TWO
Evaluation & Negotiation
Selected opportunities undergo technical, economic, legal, commercial, and compliance evaluation. We define the development concept, identify required capabilities, engage relevant partners, prepare proposals, and negotiate the contractual terms required to secure access to the asset or commercial opportunity.
STAGE THREE
Structuring & Financing
Once contractual access becomes achievable, we establish the project SPV, define participant roles, allocate risks and economics, prepare the financial model, and develop the capital strategy. Service companies, investors, lenders, and offtakers are incorporated according to the requirements of the project.
STAGE FOUR
Execution & Management
Following contract award and financing, the project moves into execution through its dedicated SPV. 7 Seas Energy coordinates implementation, service partners, procurement, reporting, financial administration, compliance, and commercialization while monitoring performance against the approved development plan and project objectives.
